Shop Rigging Fittings
Rigging fittings tie the standing rigging together and let you tune, adjust, and release it when needed. Most of this collection comes from C. Sherman Johnson, a long-time maker of turnbuckles and lifeline hardware, with splicing tools from Ronstan. It is part of our complete sailing hardware department.
What to Look for in Rigging Fittings
Measure the wire or line diameter and the thread size of your existing hardware before ordering, since fittings are sized to both. Jaw, stud, and swage ends attach in different ways, so match the end style to the fitting it connects to. Quick-release levers and shroud adjusters let you slacken rigging without tools, which helps when trailering or stepping a mast.
What This Category Covers
This category covers jaw-jaw, open body, tubular, and T-style turnbuckles, along with rigging toggles, gate eyes, gate hooks, and eye-to-eye fittings. You will also find splice line kits for lifeline gates, small boat rigging kits, cotter and clevis pin kits, and a lever arm crimper. Ronstan splicing kits round out the collection for working with modern rope.
Complete Your Rigging Fittings Setup
Lifeline and rigging work often calls for a few extra connectors, so see our shackles and hooks as well. Deck attachment points are in pad eyes and U-bolts. For boom support and vang hardware, browse boom vangs.
