The Schrade Imperial Medium Stockman has stainless clip, sheepsfoot and spey blades in an amber celluloid handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.38 inches.

Celluloid was the first commercial plastic, used on American pocketknives from the late 1800s to imitate tortoiseshell, pearl and amber at a fraction of the cost, and amber is the classic shade. Three blades divide the work: the clip for general cutting, the sheepsfoot for controlled push cuts against a surface, and the spey for scraping without a point to puncture.

Imperial built its name on affordable working knives out of Providence, Rhode Island, and Schrade still uses the name on traditional patterns. Each blade opens on a nail nick over a slip joint, with no lock to release. Explore more Stockman Knives.
