The Schrade Imperial 16T Medium Trapper has stainless clip and spey blades in an amber celluloid handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.5 inches.

The trapper pairing puts a clip blade for general cutting alongside a spey blade whose flat edge and blunted tip handle skinning and scraping without puncturing what lies underneath. Celluloid is the historic handle material of American pocketknives, the first commercial plastic, used from the late 1800s to imitate tortoiseshell, pearl and amber at a fraction of the cost. Amber is the classic shade. Imperial built its name on affordable working knives from Providence, Rhode Island, and this pattern keeps that plain, functional character.
