The WOOX Bad Boy Hunter has a 3.75-inch acid-washed D2 drop point blade over an extended tang in a walnut handle and a leather sheath. Made in Italy.
WOOX works in Vicenza and builds around wood rather than synthetics, which is the point of difference here. Walnut is shaped and finished as a feature rather than a cost saving, and it warms in the hand where a polymer scale stays cold. D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel holding an edge considerably longer than the stainless usual on hunting knives, and the acid wash leaves a dark, mottled surface that hides marks and slows corrosion.
