The Viega MegaPress 316 1-Inch FKM Coupling with Stop joins two lengths of 1 inch pipe, its internal stop positioning each end automatically.
Choose this for new runs. Where a joint must be made in existing pipe fixed at both ends, the slip coupling without a stop is the fitting that will actually go on. It is a press connection, made with a pressing tool rather than threading or brazing, so there is no open flame and no cutting threads in place. Suits Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 stainless pipe. Sealing is by FKM elements with grip rings and separator rings. We carry more in our marine pipe fittings.
