Victron SmartShunt 1000A Bluetooth Smart Battery Shunt

The Victron SmartShunt 1000A/50mV is an all-in-one battery monitor using a phone, tablet or GX device as its interface.

This is the standard version against the IP65, so it needs a dry or protected mounting position. The two are otherwise the same monitor, and the choice comes down to where in the boat the shunt will actually sit.

A thousand amps suits larger house banks, inverter systems and high-output charging equipment. Sizing the shunt to the expected current matters in both directions: too small and it is overloaded, too large and small currents read imprecisely.
