The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15 is a non-isolated DC-DC charger delivering 15A of 24V output from a 12V source, with Bluetooth.

Non-isolated is the specification that decides where this can go, and it is the cheaper of the two designs for a reason. Input and output share an electrical ground. That is fine on a fiberglass hull, but on steel or aluminum a shared ground gives galvanic current a path through the hull, and the isolated version is required instead.

It works as either a charger or a regulated power supply, converting 12V to a controlled 24V output. That flexibility suits a boat needing 24V for a thruster or windlass without a full second charging system.

The adaptive three-stage profile supports lead-acid and lithium, with Bluetooth monitoring and programming through VictronConnect.
