Victron Orion-TR 280W Isolated DC-DC Converter, 24-24V

The Victron Orion-TR 24/24-12A Isolated DC-DC Converter gives an adjustable 20-30V output from a 16-35V input, at 12A continuous.

Twelve amps is the smaller 24V-to-24V converter, against the 17A version of the same arrangement. Both do the same job of isolating and regulating a 24V circuit, so the choice is simply what the load draws.

The 16 to 35V input range is wider at the bottom than the 17A model's, which starts at 20V. That matters on a system where voltage sags hard under cranking, since a converter that drops out at 18V takes the isolated circuit down with it.

Output is adjustable 20 to 30V with 24.2V nominal, and isolation separates source from load electrically. Continuous output is 12A at 40°C, with around 320W at 25°C falling to 280W at 40°C. Explore more DC-DC converters and power supplies.
