The Victron Orion-TR 12/24-10A Isolated DC-DC Converter steps 12V up to a regulated 24V output, at 10A continuous with adjustable voltage.
Ten amps of 24V output draws roughly 20 amps from the 12V side, since stepping up doubles the input current. That is what sizes the supply cable and fuse, and planning from the output figure alone will undersize both.
The adjustable output lets the 24V supply be matched to what the connected equipment expects. It also compensates for voltage drop along a long output run, setting the converter slightly high so the load sees the correct figure.
