Victron Orion-TR 20A Isolated DC-DC Converter, 24-12V

The Victron Orion-TR 24/12-20A Isolated DC-DC Converter gives an adjustable 10-15V output from a 16-35V input, at 20A continuous.

Twenty amps sits between the 15A and 30A converters in the same 24-to-12V arrangement. Sizing to the actual load rather than buying the largest available matters, since an oversized converter costs more and draws idle current for capacity never used.

The 16 to 35V input covers a 24V system across charging and discharge without the output moving. A 24V bank sits near 29V under charge and falls under load, and equipment sensitive to that swing does better on a regulated feed.
