Victron Centaur 24V 40A 3-Bank Battery Charger

The Victron Centaur is a 24V 40A three-stage three-bank charger with universal AC input.

Forty amps at 24 volts is the larger of the two 24V Centaurs, above the 30A version, and sized for a boat where the banks are worked rather than merely maintained. Three-stage charging without the recondition, storage and refresh phases of the Smart models suits a boat in regular use rather than one left on shore power all winter.

The construction is the argument for a Centaur. Aluminum epoxy powder-coated housing, a drip shield, stainless hardware and acrylic-coated circuit boards address the corrosion and environmental stress that kill marine electronics. It is analog controlled, so there is no app, no configuration and no firmware to maintain on an installation that gets fitted and forgotten.

Three isolated outputs charge separate banks simultaneously, each capable of the full rated current as demand shifts.
