The Smith & Wesson Unwavered has a 3.25-inch satin dagger blade with a false edge, and a stainless frame inlaid with brown wood, dressier than most assisted openers, closing to 4.25 inches with an extended tang and pocket clip.

A false edge is ground to look sharpened along the back of the blade but left blunt. It thins the point for piercing while keeping a spine you can put a thumb on, which a true double edge does not allow. Assisted opening means a spring finishes the motion once the tang is pushed, so the blade deploys in one movement.
