Description

The Smith & Wesson M and P has a 3.5-inch black finish stainless blade with a partially serrated edge, a black rubberized aluminum handle, assisted opening, a bottle opener, a glass breaker and a belt and cord cutter, closing to 5 inches.

Four functions on one folder is the point here. Beyond the blade there is a glass breaker for tempered auto glass, a hooked belt cutter that works with the blade closed, and a bottle opener cut into the handle. The belt cutter keeps the point away from whoever is wearing the belt, which is the whole reason a rescue tool looks different from a folder.

Assisted opening means a spring finishes the motion once the blade is started, so it deploys in one movement even with gloved hands. Rubberizing over aluminum gives grip where bare metal turns slick with water or blood. Explore more Assisted Opening Knives.
