The Smith & Wesson M and P Repo has a 3.5-inch 8Cr13MoV stainless tanto blade in a black finish, partially serrated with a black and green rubberized aluminum handle, assisted opening, thumb stud and attachment clip, closing to 5 inches.

Assisted opening means a spring finishes the motion once the thumb starts the blade, deploying it faster and more certainly than a manual folder, particularly with gloved hands. The edge is split, plain toward the tip and serrated nearer the handle, putting the controlled section where detail cutting happens and the aggressive section where the hand pushes hardest.
