Description
The Smith & Wesson SWAT has a black finish stainless blade with a partially serrated edge, dual thumb studs, anodized aluminum handles with textured black inserts and assisted opening, closing to 4.25 inches.
This is the serrated medium SWAT, where the plain edge version runs an unbroken blade. Serrations near the handle saw through rope, webbing and packing strap, and the plain section forward keeps the controlled cutting. That split makes it the better choice for anyone cutting cordage regularly and the worse one for clean slicing.
Assisted opening means a spring finishes the motion once the stud is pushed, so the blade deploys in one movement. Textured inserts set into the anodized aluminum give grip where bare metal turns slick. Explore more Assisted Opening Knives.
