A collinear-phased design built from solid brass and copper elements sits inside extra heavy-duty 1.5mm fiberglass, and the whole assembly is fully foam-injected using Scout's proprietary waterproofing technique, sealing it against water, wind, ice, and high-speed operation alike. The black-painted fiberglass whip suits modern boat styling, and it comes paired with a 6-meter run of high-performance RG-8X cable, 97% braided in copper, standing up well against outside electrical noise.
