The Scout KS-43, an 8-foot white offshore VHF antenna with 6dB gain, is Scout's top-performing model, built specifically for boaters chasing real long-range communication and durability well beyond a standard VHF antenna.

Solid brass and copper elements in a collinear-phased layout sit protected inside extra heavy-duty 1.5mm fiberglass, and full foam injection using Scout's proprietary waterproofing method seals the antenna completely against water, wind, ice, and high-speed running. A 6-meter cable run, braided in copper across 97% of its surface, delivers real shielding against outside electrical interference.

6dB gain, 8' length, heavy stainless steel ferrule, PL-259 connector included. White.
