Description

The Scout KS-42, an 8-foot white VHF antenna with 6dB gain and a stainless ferrule, is a full redesign of the classic 8' marine antenna, built to set a new standard for reliability on medium and large boats.

A heavy-duty 1.5mm fiberglass whip gets fully foam injected using Scout's proprietary 100% waterproof technique, and a chrome brass ferrule with a standard 1" x 14 thread makes installation straightforward on most existing mounts. A 5-meter length of MIL-spec coax ships alongside the connector needed to hook it up, so nothing else needs sourcing separately.

6dB gain, 8' length, 5m of RG-58 cable included with the PL-259 connector needed to finish the install. 156-162 MHz, 50 ohm impedance, 50W max power input. White.
