The Maxwell RC6 is a compact 12V vertical rope-and-chain windlass designed for smaller trailer boats that need automatic anchor handling without taking up excessive foredeck space. Its 500W drive is rated for a maximum pull of 660 lb and is built around 1/4 in chain spliced to 1/2 in three-strand or 8-plait nylon rope. The low-profile configuration keeps the installation clean and does not use an optional capstan drum.

An in-line vertical gearbox and motor simplify installation for both boatyard and do-it-yourself applications.
