The Jabsco 2-9/16 in 8-Blade Neoprene Impeller Kit uses eight flexible blades and a brass spline-drive insert for compatible marine pumping applications. Its 5/8 in shaft specification distinguishes it from the otherwise similar ten-blade version in this group.

Jabsco flexible impellers are used across engine-cooling, bilge, transfer, and general-purpose pumps. Because the impeller is a wear item, Jabsco recommends annual replacement at minimum, with more frequent inspection or replacement where operating duty is heavier.

When servicing the pump, remove the cover and extract the impeller by gripping the hub or using an impeller tool. Avoid levering a screwdriver against the pump body, and lubricate the replacement impeller before fitting it into the bore.
