Jabsco 12-Blade Neoprene Spline Drive Impeller Kit

The Jabsco 12-blade neoprene flexible impeller kit is a replacement pumping element for compatible bronze flexible-impeller engine-cooling, bilge, transfer, and general-purpose pumps. The impeller’s flexible vanes create suction and flow as they rotate through the eccentric pump chamber, making condition and correct fit critical to reliable pump performance.

This model uses neoprene construction with spline drive and a nominal diameter of 3-3/4" Shaft Width: 1" Shaft Diameter: 2-9/16" Insert Material: Brass Jabsco flexible impellers can be fitted to most makes and models of bronze flexible impeller engine cooling. Material, blade count, hub style, shaft dimensions, and drive arrangement must all match the pump application; an impeller that looks similar but differs at the hub or shaft can fail to install or operate correctly.

Jabsco recommends preventative impeller replacement at least annually, or sooner depending on engine duty and operating conditions. Carrying a spare aboard can prevent a failed impeller from ending a trip. During service, inspect the removed vanes for missing pieces and locate any fragments downstream before installing the replacement.
