The Faria Beede Chesapeake White 5-Inch Tachometer is a 5 inch tachometer reading to 6000 RPM for gas inboard engines. A built-in hourmeter logs engine time on the same dial. Watching RPM helps you find the most efficient cruise speed and spot problems early. Chesapeake White series styling gives it a perimeter-lighted white dial with blue and white graphics, a polished stainless steel bezel, a contoured white pointer and a domed glass lens.

This tach works by counting electrical pulses from the engine's ignition, alternator, a signal generator or a magnetic pickup. Wiring takes three connections: +12 volts, ground and the signal. You set a selector switch on the back to match the number of pulses your engine sends per revolution.

It fits a 4.375 inch (112 mm) panel hole and runs on 12 volt negative ground systems, and it can be adapted for 24 volt systems. The factory part number is TC9381, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover. Check system voltage and sender compatibility before final wiring, especially when replacing an older gauge with a similar face size. Browse more marine gauges.
