Description
The Faria Beede Chesapeake White 4-Inch Tachometer with Hourmeter is built for gas outboards running up to 7,000 RPM, carrying Chesapeake's signature perimeter-lit white dial with blue and white graphics behind a domed glass lens, framed in a polished stainless steel bezel with a contoured white pointer.
This tachometer draws its reading from whatever pulse source the outboard gives, ignition, alternator, a dedicated signal generator, or a magnetic pickup, and wires in through +12VDC, ground, and that one lead. A switch on the back sets how many pulses the gauge should expect per engine revolution, calibrating the reading correctly for the specific outboard it's installed on.
4-inch gauge, 3.375-inch (85mm) mounting hole, 0-7,000 RPM, gas outboard compatible. Sold individually; gauge cover not included.
