The Faria Beede Kronos 4" 7000 RPM Tachometer is a 4 inch tachometer reading to 7,000 RPM for gas outboard engines. A built-in hourmeter logs engine time on the same dial. Watching RPM helps you find the most efficient cruise speed and spot problems early. Kronos series styling gives it a perimeter-lighted spun aluminum dial with gold and black graphics, embossed gold increments, a polished stainless steel bezel, a two-piece Newport pointer with a white hub and a flat glass lens.

This tach works by counting electrical pulses from the engine's ignition, alternator, a signal generator or a magnetic pickup. Wiring takes three connections: +12 volts, ground and the signal. You set a selector switch on the back to match the number of pulses your engine sends per revolution.

It fits a 3.375 inch (85 mm) panel hole and runs on 12 volt negative ground systems. The factory part number is TCH305, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover. Check system voltage and sender compatibility before final wiring, especially when replacing an older gauge with a similar face size. Browse more marine gauges.
