Faria Beede Dress White 7000 RPM Outboard Tachometer

The Faria Beede Dress White 7000 RPM Outboard Tachometer is a 4 inch tachometer reading to 7000 RPM for gas outboard engines. Watching RPM helps you find the most efficient cruise speed and spot problems early. Dress White series styling gives it a perimeter-lighted white dial with bold black graphics, a white aluminum bezel, a contoured black pointer and a flat glass lens.

This tach works by counting electrical pulses from the engine's ignition, alternator, a signal generator or a magnetic pickup. Wiring takes three connections: +12 volts, ground and the signal. You set a selector switch on the back to match the number of pulses your engine sends per revolution.

It fits a 3.375 inch (85 mm) panel hole and runs on 12 volt negative ground systems, and it can be adapted for 24 volt systems. The factory part number is TC9038, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover.
