Description
The Faria Beede Chesapeake White 4000 RPM Tachometer is a 4 inch tachometer reading to 4000 RPM for diesel engines with magnetic pickup senders. Watching RPM helps you find the most efficient cruise speed and spot problems early. Chesapeake White series styling gives it a perimeter-lighted white dial with blue and white graphics, a polished stainless steel bezel, a contoured white pointer and a domed glass lens.
This tach works by counting electrical pulses from the engine's ignition, alternator, a signal generator or a magnetic pickup. Wiring takes three connections: +12 volts, ground and the signal. You set a selector switch on the back to match the number of pulses your engine sends per revolution.
It fits a 3.375 inch (85 mm) panel hole and runs on 12 volt negative ground systems, and it can be adapted for 24 volt systems. The factory part number is TD9733, and it is sold individually without a gauge cover. The case is plastic for corrosion resistance and long life. Browse more marine gauges.
