EGIS 40A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker

For a high-current protection point located close to the battery or load, the EGIS 40A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker provides automatic over-current response and manual disconnect control. The breaker is rated for 40A continuous service and uses a reinforced mounting platform for secure installation.

IP66 sealing protects against dust and water intrusion, and the voltage rating supports installations through 48VDC. The breaker is designed for 2,000 full-current switching operations. With interrupt capacity of 5,000A at 14VDC and 3,000A at 28VDC, it is built for the high fault-current potential found around substantial battery banks.

Mechanical construction includes reinforced tabs, stainless-steel hardware, and serrated flange nuts for resistance to vibration and corrosion.
