EGIS 50A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker

The EGIS 50A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker protects battery-fed wiring from over-current conditions while giving the operator a manual way to isolate the circuit. Its sealed high-current construction supports demanding DC installations, and the base can be secured directly to the chosen equipment surface.

The sealed enclosure supports harsh electrical locations, and the breaker can be used on 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48VDC systems. EGIS designed this version to meet newer ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements. It is also ignition protected, an important feature when the installation is inside a compartment where flammable vapors could collect.

For mechanical durability, the breaker uses corrosion-resistant stainless hardware and self-locking terminal nuts. Its reinforced mounting points are designed for harsh service and let the installer place the breaker where cable routing and future access make sense.
