Digital Yacht HSC100 Fluxgate Compass Heading Sensor

The Digital Yacht HSC100 is a fluxgate compass heading sensor that sends heading data to onboard systems at 10 Hz. Most low-cost heading sensors only update once per second. The faster rate is what MARPA target tracking and accurate radar overlays require.

Heading data enables course-up and true motion displays on chart plotters and radar overlay on electronic charts. It also stabilizes radar for MARPA or ARPA target tracking. Paired with a log and GPS, integrated instruments can calculate tidal set and drift in real time.

The sensor is gimbaled to 45 degrees and outputs standard NMEA 0183 HDG, plus AD10 heading for Furuno systems. It's waterproof to IPx7 for external mounting on steel hulls, runs on 12 or 24 volts and comes with a 15 meter cable.
