The Digital Yacht GPS160 TriNav Sensor, NMEA 0183 Output, tracks position by drawing on GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo satellites together, a more accurate and redundant fix than any single constellation could deliver alone.

This standard NMEA 0183 output variant is the most broadly compatible version of the GPS160, dropping into legacy instrument systems and chartplotters that still expect traditional NMEA sentences at a programmable baud rate. Field programming covers single-constellation modes and output configuration alike, and like the rest of the line, it accepts an external MOB switch, capable of generating a synthesized AIS SART-style alert the moment it's activated.
