Digital Yacht LANLink NMEA 0183 to Ethernet Gateway

The Digital Yacht LANLink NMEA 0183 to Ethernet Gateway puts your boat's NMEA 0183 data onto the onboard router network. Phones, tablets and computers on that network can then use the navigation data in their apps. It connects with a standard RJ45 Cat 5/6 patch cable.

Apps such as TZ iBoat, iNavX, NavLink, iSailor, Imray and Weather 4D connect by entering the gateway's IP address and port. It supports TCP/IP for up to 5 connected devices or UDP for more, and it's bi-directional. An RS232 port also serves PC navigation software. It runs on 10 to 35 volts DC, drawing about 50 mA at 12 volts, works from -25 to 70 degrees C and measures 95 x 86 mm.

Setup is done in a web browser, where you choose 4800 or 38400 baud, the connection mode and a fixed or dynamic IP address. Status lights show power, data, network link and server status.
