Digital Yacht iKonvert NMEA 2000 USB Gateway

The Digital Yacht iKonvert is a USB gateway that lets a computer read and write NMEA 2000 data. It can pass raw binary PGN data for analysis and control, or convert it to NMEA 0183 for navigation software. Almost every popular marine navigation program on PC, Mac or Linux reads 0183, so iKonvert opens the 2000 network to all of them.

Data modes are set with DIP switches inside the unit, with no configuration software or firmware changes required. In raw mode it runs at 230 kbaud, and in 0183 conversion mode it outputs at 4800, 38400 or 115200 baud. Developers can work with its published serial format, and it's already compatible with CanBoat and the Signal K Node Server.

The compact housing has an integral USB Type A cable and a standard NMEA 2000 Micro male drop cable. It draws power from the NMEA 2000 network with full galvanic isolation between the USB side and the network.
