The Condor El Salvador Machete has an 18-inch black traction coated 1075HC steel blade with a full tang at 23 inches overall, a brown wood handle, a lanyard hole and a black leather belt sheath.

Traction coating is a rough textured finish rather than a smooth one, and on a machete it does two jobs: it slows rust on carbon steel and it stops green sap building into a slick film on the blade.
