The Marbles Chopper is 13.63 inches overall with a 4.25 inch orange stainless head, a 5 inch cutting edge, a full tang wood handle and a nylon sheath with a sharpening stone.

The sharpening stone in the sheath is the detail worth knowing. It means the tool and the means to maintain it travel together, which matters on an axe used away from a bench. An orange head is unusual on an axe, and it is there so the tool is found again when set down in leaf litter or long grass.

A 5 inch cutting edge on a 4.25 inch head means the edge curves well past the head profile, giving more cutting length than the head size suggests.
