The CJRB Acacia has a 3.25-inch stonewashed AR-RPM9 stainless blade in a black textured FRN handle with a crossbar lock, thumb pull, pocket clip and lanyard hole, closing to 4.25 inches, with a zippered storage case.
A crossbar lock is a spring-loaded bar that drops across the blade tang, pulled back from either side, so the knife works the same in either hand and closes without fingers crossing the blade path. AR-RPM9 is Artisan's powder steel, pressed from steel powder rather than cast, giving a finer and more even grain than a conventional steel of the same recipe.
FRN keeps the weight down noticeably against G10 or steel, and the molded texture does the grip work a heavier scale would. The thumb pull is a notch cut into the blade rather than a stud fitted to it, so nothing protrudes to catch. Explore more Folding Knives.
