Blue Sea 8411 AC 8 Position Circuit Breaker Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 8411 is an 8-position AC panel rated to 100 amperes, supplied with six 15A single-pole breakers and two positions open.

There is no main here, so this works as branch distribution downstream of a main or selector panel installed elsewhere. It works alongside a main-only unit near the shore inlet, keeping the ELCI within the 10 feet ABYC E-11 calls for while the branch circuits sit where the crew can reach them.

Six breakers installed across eight positions leaves two spare, which covers a circuit or two added later without a new panel. The 100 ampere maximum depends on wire and fusing sized correctly for the application rather than being a figure to design toward.

Hot, neutral and safety ground buses are all installed and the panel arrives fully pre-wired. The body is 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum in two-part polyurethane over MIL-C-5541C immersion undercoating, in industry standard dimensions with instructions, a cutout template and 30 large format labels.
