Blue Sea 1228 120V AC 8 Position Breaker Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 1228 has eight 120V AC positions with no main breaker, rated to 100A, measuring 7.75 by 4.88 by 3.00 inches.

No main breaker is the defining specification. This does branch distribution only, for a boat where the main already lives somewhere else. That is the normal arrangement where an ELCI main sits within 10 feet of the shore inlet and the branch panel is further inside the boat, so a second main here would be redundant.

Eight 7403 A-Series flat rocker 15A breakers come installed, filling every position. The 100A maximum depends on wire and fusing being correctly sized for the application, so it is a ceiling rather than a figure to design toward.

Circuit label positions are backlit and ON indicating LEDs are fitted throughout. The 4206 basic AC label kit with 30 black square labels is included, and the panel weighs 2.68 pounds in a vertical format. Explore more marine electrical panels.
