Blue Sea 8380 DC Main +22 Position Circuit Breaker Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 8380 DC panel has a 100A main plus 22 branch positions, sixteen filled with 15A breakers, and separate voltmeter and ammeter.

Metering here is two separate instruments rather than one screen: an 8028 DC micro voltmeter and an 8250 analog micro ammeter, both visible at once. That matters when watching what a pump actually pulls at startup, since a single switching display shows one value at a time and the surge is over before it can be changed.

If the boat later moves to 24 volts the analog meters swap for 8240 or 8243 units without replacing the panel, which is unusual and worth knowing. A toggle switch swings the meters across as many as three banks.

Twenty-two positions covers refrigeration, electronics, pumps, cabin and navigation lighting and a windlass each on its own protected circuit, with sixteen 15A breakers already installed. Buses are pre-wired, labels are backlit as standard and every position has an ON indicating LED. The body is 1/8 inch 5052 aluminum over MIL-C-5541C immersion undercoating.
