The Winchester Silvertip has a 3.75-inch stonewashed stainless tanto blade with a full tang, a black and gray micarta handle and a black nylon sheath.

Micarta on a knife at this price is the reason to look. It is fabric set in resin, gripping harder as hands get damp and wearing in over years, where the category usually runs molded plastic. The tanto puts a reinforced corner where a curved belly would run, concentrating force at the front for piercing at the cost of a sweeping slice.
