The Victron Orion 24/12-30 IP20 DC-DC Converter gives up to 30 amps of 12V output from a 24V system, with adjustable output and remote on/off.
Thirty amps is the smallest of the three IP20 Orion converters, below the 60A and 80A versions. Sizing to the actual 12V load rather than the largest available matters, since an oversized converter draws idle current continuously for capacity never used.
Thirty amps of output draws around 15 amps from the 24V side, and that figure sizes the supply cable and fuse. Planning from the output alone is the common error, and it leaves the input side undersized.
