Victron Current Transformer 100A for MultiPlus-II

The Victron 100A:50mA Current Transformer gives external AC current sensing for MultiPlus-II and MultiGrid-II systems, with a 20-meter lead.

Twenty meters of lead is the specification that decides where this can go, and it is unusually generous. That allows the sensing point to sit at the shore inlet or the main distribution panel while the inverter charger lives in a machinery space some distance away. Most current transformers come with a short tail that forces both into the same compartment.

External sensing is what enables PowerControl and PowerAssist to work against the real incoming supply rather than an assumed figure. The system can then manage a limited shore, generator or grid connection without exceeding what is actually available.
