Description
The Victron BatteryProtect (48V, 100A) disconnects the battery from nonessential loads before it's completely discharged or before it has insufficient power left to crank the engine. It is designed for boaters who want straightforward battery protection without Bluetooth complexity.
This is a unidirectional device, handling current in only one direction, either to a load or from a charger, but not both simultaneously. Current can only flow from the Battery terminal to the Load terminal: when used with a load, the battery connects to the Battery terminal, and when used with a charger, the charger connects to the Battery terminal. Browse more options in our power monitoring and DC-DC conversion category.
Unidirectional design handles current in only one direction, to a load or from a charger. Prevents deep discharge and no-start conditions by disconnecting before the battery drops too low.
