Victron BlueSmart IP67 12V 13-Amp Battery Charger

The Victron Blue Smart IP67 is a 12V 13A sealed charger in a cast-aluminum enclosure with resin-molded electronics.

Thirteen amps is the smallest sealed IP67 charger, for a modest bank in a location that would destroy an unsealed unit. That combination is worth noting. Small chargers usually come in plastic dry-mount housings, and putting one in an engine space is how it ends up corroded within a season.

Storage mode lowers float voltage after extended periods without discharge to reduce gassing and corrosion, then periodically raises voltage to limit sulfation and electrolyte stratification. That periodic raise is what keeps a battery healthy through a winter on the charger rather than merely charged.

The adaptive five-stage algorithm runs bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage, optimizing to battery condition.
