Victron BlueSmart IP65 12V 10-Amp Battery Charger

The Victron Blue Smart IP65 is a 12V 10A charger with a seven-step algorithm, supplied with crocodile clips and M8 eyelets.

Ten amps is the small end of the Blue Smart range, sized for motorcycle, workshop and small boat batteries rather than a house bank. A 10A charger on a large bank will keep it topped up but will not return it after a heavy discharge, which is where owners get caught out.

Both crocodile clips and M8 eyelets are included, so the charger works as a portable unit or on a permanent lead. That suits the way a small charger actually gets used: on the boat through the season and on whatever else needs charging over the winter.

The seven-step algorithm restores charge efficiently while maintaining battery health across repeated use and storage. It can attempt recovery of a deeply discharged battery with a low current until terminal voltage rises enough for normal charging. IP65 resists dust and water but not immersion.
