Description
The Victron 325A/80V CNN Fuse fits compatible Lynx Shunt installations, with 10mm terminals rated to 80 volts.
The Lynx Shunt gives a fuse position but not the fuse itself, so this is the part that completes it. That catches people out when ordering, since a module that looks complete arrives without the protection it exists to hold.
Eighty volts covers 12V, 24V and 48V DC systems, so one fuse family serves the whole Lynx range. Voltage rating matters on a DC fuse: an underrated fuse may not extinguish the arc when it blows, and DC arcs do not self-extinguish the way AC ones do.
Three hundred and twenty-five amps has to match the cable, the bank and the connected equipment. Fusing to the cable rather than the load is the rule, since the gap between a load-sized fuse and the conductor's capacity is left unprotected. Explore more electrical system accessories.
- The Lynx Shunt gives the position, not the fuse
- A module that looks complete arrives without it

- An underrated DC fuse may not extinguish the arc
