Description
The Victron Lynx Shunt VE.Can M10 combines DC busbars, a 1000A monitoring shunt and a main-fuse location in one Lynx module.
Combining the busbar, shunt and fuse position removes three separate installations and the cable between them. Each of those connections is a termination that has to be made, torqued and inspected, so consolidating them cuts both the work and the number of joints that can loosen.
The CNN main system fuse is purchased separately, which is easy to overlook when ordering. The module gives the location and the connections; the fuse itself has to be specified to suit the system and bought alongside.
The positive busbar takes the fuse and the negative busbar holds the shunt that measures battery current. Monitoring data transmits over VE.Can, and M10 terminals have to match the cable lugs being used. Explore more battery monitoring.
