Uflex SilverSteer UC128TS V3 Angled Offset Cylinder

The Uflex SilverSteer UC128TS V3 is the angled offset link arm version of the SilverSteer front-mount outboard cylinder. The offset arm is for outboards where a straight link arm does not line up with the engine's steering attachment. Like the rest of the SilverSteer line, it is made for high-torque bass, flats, and tournament boats.

The rod, seals, and link assemblies are stainless steel, and the triple-sealed end cartridges are replaceable, which keeps rebuilds simple and inexpensive. Getting the link arm right matters, since the wrong geometry can bind the engine at full lock or limit how far it turns. Uflex does not recommend SilverSteer cylinders above 69 mph or for racing. Because the cylinder shares parts with the V1, service kits and end cartridges are the same, which keeps spares simple if you run more than one SilverSteer boat.

Have the engine model and year handy when you check the Uflex application guide. After installation, bleed the system completely and check the steering from lock to lock with the engine running before heading out. The straight-arm V1 is the other common choice, and both are in our hydraulic steering systems.
