Springfield 2-7/8-Inch EZ-Ride Wave Dampening Pedestal

The Springfield 2-7/8-inch EZ-Ride wave-dampening pedestal combines an internal gas shock with a mechanical spring to soften vertical impacts at the seat. The suspension system gives controlled travel that can reduce the sharpness of wave-induced motion for recreational in-shore boating when the pedestal is installed within its intended application.

The 12-inch anodized aluminum pedestal includes a 9-inch round base and swivel. A keyed rotational locking collar helps restrict unwanted movement, while the source lists approximately 3.5 inches of vertical travel. The assembly has been tested to ABYC H-31 dynamic and static load requirements.

Confirm seat, swivel, base, mounting-surface, and load compatibility before installation.
