Springfield 2-7/8-Inch Heavy Duty Mainstay with Swivel

The Springfield 2-7/8-Inch Heavy Duty Mainstay with Swivel is an air-powered Mainstay pedestal with a swivel, so the seat can turn as well as move up and down. The 2-7/8-inch keyed post resists rotation in the base and handles heavier loads than lighter pedestal systems. Air-powered height adjustment makes it easy to raise or lower the seat to fit the operator.

A swivel turns a fixed helm seat into a flexible one. Turn it to face the cockpit while drifting, toward the side to fight a fish, or out of the way to get past the console. On the Mainstay, the swivel sits on the strong 2-7/8-inch post, so it stays solid even with a heavier helm seat.

Check that the seat clears the console and any leaning post through the full turn before finalizing its position.
