The Springfield 12 Inch Fixed-Height Boat Pedestal sets a seat at 12 inches. The top is sized for a 2-7/8-inch Trac-Lock seat mount, the same connection used across Springfield's heavy-duty seating hardware. Its high-magnesium aluminum base resists corrosion in open boats.

A 12-inch pedestal suits low-profile helm stations, tiller boats, and seats that need to stay below a windshield or console top. The fixed height keeps the design simple, with nothing to adjust or wear out. Add a Trac-Lock swivel or slide on top if the seat needs to turn or move fore and aft. Before installing, sit at the helm on a box at the planned height to make sure you can reach the controls and see over the bow.
